Activities of the KeNODC are partially supported by:-

• IOC-UNESCO through Ocean Data and Information Network in Africa (ODINAFRICA). The ODINAFRICA project is an initiative by Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO to assist in the development of national oceanographic data and information centres in Africa.
• The Government of Kenya through Kenya marine and Fisheries Research Institute provides the rest of the requirements.
