Report compiled from the World Ocean Database 2005

This is a collection of scientifically quality-controlled ocean profile data which is extracted from the area of interest bounded by 0.5°S, 6°S and 39°E, 50°E from the World Ocean Database
2005. This depth profile data collected by XBT, MBT, CTD and Nansen bottles spans several years. The data which has measurements of temperature, salinity, oxygen, phosphate, nitrate,
silicate, chlorophyll, alkalinity and Ph is now stored in ASCII format which is considered format-friendly to potential Kenyan users. Further, presentations of the data have been done on
scatter profile plots.
